So with Nascar changing some things like the rear wing and yellow line will the competition be?
Will the competition be more level out or will we see the same results in 09?
Although we may very well see the return of photo-finishes and racing for the lead (especially at the restrictor plate racetracks), it does not address the issue of team monopolies. A driver's chances automatically drop off if he races for any other team than Hendrick, Rousch, or Gibbs (right now, it just seems to be Hendrick). Something needs to be done to equalize the teams, because since 2005 it's been more about equipment than about drivers. If Front Row had the same access to resources and talent as the super teams, then the competition would definitely be evened out.
