What metaphore could be used to describe the King in 'The Lady or the Tiger', by Frank Stockton?
I need a metaphor for him. Please and thank you 
I can only think of ....
The Blind Leading The Blind
I say this because the king, being so cruel, was blind to the meaning of love. Even for his own daughter's happiness. On the other hand, the knight was blinded by love even knowing the king would be at odds with their union.
The king was blind to love, the knight was blinded by love and to consequence his action.
