Military Aircraft Models For Sale

I am researching army uniforms for the first Gulf War (Desert Storm)?

I'm curious to know if soldiers enrolled during the 1990-91 Desert Storm could wear their own underwear, or if they were issued at all. Any other details Uniforms Desert Storm, particularly for armored divisions or tank, will be greatly appreciated (types of cammo, or a combination of high types / Down combo, web gear, etc.) Thanks!

There is an initial problem of underwear for new trainees. Four boxers or briefs each, and the option of the soldier. After that you can buy your own. What is remarkable about uniforms Desert Storm was their great lack of any ensure consistency. XVIII Corps units that had been in the country's longest tend to have problems, full of 6-color (Chip chocolate) DCU. Most National Guard units and VII Corps (III Corps and attached) units had a hodgepodge of uniforms. There was much cammo wood and desert cammo much. DCU but are in short supply, so that short and too too many people always seemed to be in the woods. When we descended, everyone was in MOPP gear - chemical protective suits - Web. craft was traditional canvas belt with Y-shaped shoulder straps LBES. The LBE Vest proposed was still a year or introduction. Everyone wore Kevlar helmets. steel pots had disappeared some years before the first Gulf War.
